As such, we expect our personnel to spend time identifying and finding solutions to problems and concerns in the community. We strive to create 'partnerships' with the community so that we can work together to address issues that are important to the people who live and work in Buena Park.
In an effort to expand on this philosophy, our two Patrol Lieutenants (also known as Watch Commanders) are assigned three geographical areas of the city and will coordinate the delivery of Community Policing and Problem-Solving services in their assigned areas.
As such, the two Patrol Lieutenants are 'Area Commanders' for their defined geographical area.
People of the community should feel free to contact the appropriate Area Commander to discuss any particular problem or issue within that Commander's defined area.
